Thermal Injuries in Children

Welcome

The Child Protection Special Interest Group was established in the mid ‘80s to provide a forum for paediatricians working in the field of child maltreatment. It is a special interest group of both the British Association for Community Child Health (BACCH) and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH).

CPSIG:

  • Provides peer support at local and national level
  • Provides regional and national study days
  • Is a forum for sharing good practice through its meetings and website

CPSIG membership is open to BACCH and RCPCH members, and to doctors from other appropriate professional organisations. CPSIG now has a wide network of members, encouraging the support of colleagues.

This website will tell you more about the current work of CPSIG and provide information about Child Protection training and events.
